A three member delegation from Water Aid Ghana on Thursday 1st December, 2022 paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive at the District Assembly.
Members of the delegation were Mr. David Aidoo, Planning and Program Officer, Mr. Sampson A. Tettey, Program Manager Technical and Mr. Evans Bonsu, Logistics.
The visit was to afford them the opportunity to interact with the Assembly to know the gaps in terms of water coverage and to assess existing water systems in the district.
Mr. Sampson A.Tettey, Program Manager Technical disclosed that Accra Brewery Limited is in partnership with Water Aid Ghana to carry out WASH project in three MMDAs in the Volta Region namely; Ho West District, Adaklu District and Ho Municipal.
The District Chief Executive, Hon Ernest Victor Apau was grateful for the visit. He said their presence will help in addressing the challenges of water coverage in the district. He pledged the Assembly’s partnership and support to ensure their intentions become a success.
Also present at the Meeting were the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor, and Heads of Departments/Units.
